A very sensitive intervention
Does the solution to many of societys problems lie in restricting emancipation to people of working age? Its one thing to discus lowering the voting age to 16, but statistics show voters who are past retirement age are more likely to have the most outmoded views along with a tendency to support policies and policy makers who are systematically refusing to tackle the issues at hand in any meaningful capacity to ensure a long-term success. I understand many elderly people will find this notion deeply offensive - but it is something we should consider if society is to be able to progress
